Role Overview:
We are looking for an IAM (SailPoint) Technical Lead Consultant to join on a 6 month hybrid contract based in Watford (2 days on-site), with ad-hoc travel to London and other UK locations for workshops. The role leads the end-to-end identity integration architecture for a merger programme, driving migration and coexistence strategy between SailPoint Identity IQ and SailPoint ISC, and defining the target-state IAM architecture aligned to enterprise security standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end identity integration architecture for a merger programme, leading migration and coexistence strategy between Identity IQ and SailPoint ISC, including identity consolidation across merged identity sources.
- Design target-state IAM architecture including identity profiles, transforms, workflows, policies, and governance controls, ensuring alignment with GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOX.
- Review and approve technical designs and deployment plans, providing architecture governance and technical oversight to SailPoint engineers and developers.
- Lead troubleshooting of complex integration and provisioning issues, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into secure, scalable technical solutions.
- Own technical migration strategy and execution guidance, including cutover planning, RBAC model definition, and transition to an operational support model.
Top 5 Skills:
- 10+ years in IAM with at least 5 years hands-on SailPoint architecture experience across both SailPoint IIQ and SailPoint ISC, including workflows, transforms, rules, certifications, and life cycle management.
- Strong experience with IAM target-state architecture design, IIQ to ISC migration planning, and identity consolidation across complex, merged enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of Identity Governance, Access Management, RBAC, JML processes, and SoD controls, with experience integrating Active Directory, HR systems, cloud applications, and APIs.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), SaaS architecture, SailPoint Virtual Appliances, and networking concepts including Firewall and Proxy.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to coordinate distributed teams and lead onsite engagements - desirable: SailPoint Certified Identity Security Cloud Engineer or SailPoint Architect certification.
