Job Description \n D365 F&O Finance Solution Architect - Windsor (Hybrid) - 6 months - Inside IR35 \n What the role is \n This is a finance-focused architect for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. They design and govern the whole finance solution, and they're the link between finance leadership, functional consultants, developers and partners. It's a functional and finance role more than a technical one. \n Key responsibilities \n \n Solution design: end-to-end finance across the D365 F&O modules. That covers GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Revenue Recognition, Subscription Billing, Intercompany and Consolidation. They also produce the blueprints, diagrams and future-state processes. \n Business engagement: run workshops, fit-gap analysis and design reviews with finance stakeholders, and push back on requirements where needed. \n Process ownership: R2R, P2P and O2C, plus Subscription Billing, Revenue Recognition, Direct Debit management and reconciliations, all compliant with accounting and regulatory standards. \n Integration and data: integrations to CRM, payment gateways (Worldpay is named), banking systems, data warehouses and Power Platform. They also lead data migration and master data. \n Governance: run the design authority, sign off designs and specs, and support SIT, UAT and E2E testing. \n Delivery: own the functional design across the whole life cycle, in Agile or Waterfall, and guide the consultants and developers. \n \n Must-haves \n \n Deep knowledge of the D365 Finance modules \n Several full-life cycle D365 F&O implementations \n Strong problem-solving and decision-making \n \n Nice-to-haves \n \n 10+ years in ERP implementation, including 8+ years in D365 F&O Finance \n Background as a Lead Functional Consultant, Finance Architect, ERP Solution Architect or Programme Design Lead \n ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualification (not mandatory) \n \n Contract Details: \n \n Contract Duration - 6-Months Contract (extensions likely) \n Location - Windsor (1-2 days per week onsite) \n Rate - Negotiable \n Determination - Inside IR35 \n \n D365 F&O Finance Solution Architect - Windsor (Hybrid) - 6 months - Inside IR35
