One of the largest growing Alt Nets in the UK are looking for Service Delivery Engineers to come & join their ever-growing team.

Your focus will be to install and service their overhead and underground network using the specifics off Openreach’s PIA network. Whilst being directly involved within the maintenance of the network, including the installation of CBT’s. You will strive to resolve customer / network outages and act as a supply network.

  • Working daily on customer residential installations, assisting with both OH & UG cabling and the installations of CBT’s
  • Following the correct procedures for fibre splicing and testing at multiple points along the installation process
  • Installation of the fibre cables and CBT’s cross-referencing Openreach’s PIA policies
  • Fault finding using OTDR back to the exchanges
  • When needed, completing minor civils works including blockage clearances
  • Maintaining all health & safety across sites
  • Previous experience being within a fibre installations position -minimum 1 year
  • Experience with both overhead and underground cabling & installations
  • Having previous experience with fault finding using OTDR
  • Previously worked on the Openreach or PIA network
  • BT Accreditations would be desirable – (SA001/SA002/S7/S8)
  • Salary would be up to £34,000 per annum
  • Annual bonus – up to 30% of their annual salary
  • Van and fuel card included
