An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Project Manager to join a growing team.Operating in a hybrid model across Glasgow or Edinburgh,the successful candidate will lead the delivery of a high-profile VMware Cloud Foundation upgrade for a major financial services client.Core responsibilities include managing delivery governance across four parallel architecture and engineering teams,coordinating project timelines and technical milestones,and driving successful client outcomes under tight operational deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Own planning, delivery and reporting for a Broadcom VMware VCF upgrade
- Coordinate four parallel workstreams made up of architects, engineers and customer engineers
- Manage risks, dependencies and issues across a programme with many moving parts
- Run the project briefing and align stakeholders on scope, timelines and expectations
- Keep delivery on track to the end of March 2027 and flag any scope or timeline changes early
- Ensure clear documentation and a smooth handover
Skills/Must have:
- Proven project management experience on VMware or comparable infrastructure projects, ideally recent
- Experience delivering VCF or large-scale VMware upgrades
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Confident managing multiple parallel teams and stakeholders
- Clear communicator, comfortable working with technical specialists and customers
