Join a full fibre broadband provider that believes great connectivity should simply work, delivering multi-gigabit services to homes and businesses across the East of England and the East and West Midlands. With speeds of up to 5 Gbps, UK-based customer support, and a focus on reliability, the organization is building a portfolio of connected services designed to future-proof its customers.

The company is currently on the lookout for a Senior Network Engineer to support a series of complex network projects. The ideal candidate will be a genuinely senior, hands‑on engineer who owns delivery across the full lifecycle, from design through implementation, migration, and operational handover, across complex enterprise or carrier‑grade environments. Strong technical judgement, autonomy, and accountability are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and contribute to network design, implementation, and migration activities
  • Own technical delivery across projects, ensuring quality and reliability
  • Work across multi‑vendor, complex network environments
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Support network transformation and migration programmes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and transition into operations
  • Produce and maintain high‑quality technical documentation

Skills/Must Have:

    • Proven experience operating at a senior/principal network engineering level
    • Certification level equivalent to CCIE / JNCIE (or demonstrable experience at this level)
    • Strong hands‑on experience across:
    • Routing & Switching (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.)
    • Data centre and enterprise network architectures
    • Network migrations and transformation programmes
    • Experience working in complex enterprise or carrier‑grade environments
    • Ability to work across the full network lifecycle:
      • Design
      • Implementation
      • Migration
      • Troubleshooting
      • Operational transition
    • Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to operate independently
    • Experience delivering within project‑driven environments
  • A true senior engineer, not limited to a narrow technical domain
  • Comfortable taking ownership of technical delivery
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Pragmatic, delivery‑focused, and able to work in fast‑paced project environments

Desirable Skills:

  • Exposure to multi‑vendor environments (e.g. Cisco, Juniper, Arista)
  • Experience with network automation or programmability (Python, Ansible, etc.)
  • Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Previous experience in large‑scale transformation or migration programmes

Contract Details:

  • Fully remote role (UK‑based candidates preferred)
  • Outside IR35 engagement
  • Immediate start preferred

Salary:

  • £400 Per Day - £450 Per Day
