You’ll lead the charge in designing and optimising digital solutions as a Senior Network Engineer working for a fast-growing AltNet. You’ll Join a dynamic team where your expertise will be the driving force behind the network upgrades and innovations.

The role:

  • You’ll lead the deployment of cutting-edge technologies like EVPN and VXLAN, taking our network to new heights.
  • You’ll play a part in shaping the future of the network, from redesigning core components to upgrading Juniper models and switches.
  • As well as inspiring and mentoring mentor junior engineers, becoming a key escalation point within our collaborative environment.

  • Drive network upgrades and improvements, collaborating with the Technical Services team
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers, acting as an escalation point
  • Lead the documentation of network enhancements and changes
  • Collaborate with equipment partners to introduce innovative solutions
  • Experience with new technologies such as EVPN, network overlay, MPLS, and VXLAN
  • Proficient troubleshooting, planning, and some design skills
  • Exposure to telecom industry practices and GPON / XGS-PON networks
  • Strong knowledge of OSPF, MPLS, and L2/L3 fundamentals
