As a Senior Guidewire Developer/Consultant, you will play a key role in our strategic Policy and Claims administration platform consolidation program. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring the deployment of system features while ensuring seamless integration and maintaining the system throughout its life cycle. You will leverage your expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and Cloud migration to configure and customize applications for new product lines, helping transform our insurance technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and design scalable software solutions.
- Develop and enhance modules within enterprise systems, coding advanced portions as needed.
- Plan and execute system feature deployments, ensuring successful integration and life cycle maintenance.
- Consolidate requirements to identify future-proof solutions aligned with business needs.
- Perform performance tuning to ensure optimal system functionality.
- Recommend and implement Agile best practices, design, and development principles.
Skills and Experience Required
- Expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter, including Cloud migration and configuration/customization for new products.
- Strong knowledge of insurance domain and claims processes.
- Experience integrating Guidewire with third-party and broker systems.
- Hands-on experience with GOSU programming, XML, PCF, REST, and SOAP.
- Programming languages: Java, Python, PL/SQL.
- Development frameworks: Spring Boot, React, Angular.
- Databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL.
