We are looking for a PowerOn Reliance SCADA Engineer to join on a 6-month fully on-site contract based in Wokingham. The role involves delivering expert-level services for GE PowerOn Reliance (PoR) SCADA, with a strong focus on validating and testing system implementation against functional, non-functional, and integration requirements across SCADA and EMS environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert services for GE PowerOn Reliance SCADA EMS, designing comprehensive test scenarios and executing detailed test cases to ensure full coverage across all system functionalities.
- Configure and validate SCADA and EMS modules within PowerOn Reliance, including Group Telecontrol, Automation, System Tracing, Symbol Design, and Alarm Configuration.
- Work within Agile Scrum teams alongside Product Owners, SCADA SMEs, and business testers to create user stories, acceptance tests, and monitor test progress using JIRA/XRAY.
- Identify, document, and manage risks and issues related to testing, providing mitigation recommendations and ensuring traceability through detailed defect reporting.
- Coordinate with customers, implementation partners, and system integrators to validate end-to-end system functionality and support successful deployment.
