We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Oracle Fusion Payroll Engineer to lead the configuration, implementation, and optimisation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll solutions within a complex enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate with key stakeholders to understand payroll, compliance, and business requirements, translating them into scalable, accurate, and high-performance Oracle Fusion Payroll solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure payroll elements, fast formulas, balances, and legislative rules based on business needs and local compliance.
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing cycles including pre-payroll validations, run, pre-payroll reports, and post-payroll reconciliation.
- Investigate and resolve payroll calculation errors, discrepancies, or system bugs during testing or live payroll runs.
- Participate in or lead new implementations, enhancements, or upgrades of Oracle Fusion Payroll modules (Cloud HCM).
- Create and maintain reports using BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL for statutory compliance, audits, and business insights.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Payroll architecture, payroll flows, and global/local payroll rules.
- Proficient in writing, testing, and debugging Fast Formulas for payroll calculations, validations, and eligibility rules.
- Strong experience in building custom reports and extracting data for audits, compliance, and business analytics.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR, finance, and IT teams, clearly explaining issues, fixes, and recommendations.
