A contracting role based in Norwich/London (Hybrid, 3 days in office) for a 6-month engagement. We are looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Network Engineer with 8-10 years of hands-on expertise in AWS infrastructure and networking, to join an agile platform team delivering cloud solutions for a large enterprise client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and deliver secure AWS network infrastructure solutions across platform and project workloads
- Own and deliver sprint objectives tracked via Jira, contributing actively to agile ceremonies including standups, planning, and retrospectives
- Architect and implement AWS networking constructs including VPCs, Transit Gateways, VPC peering, WAN connectivity, NAT, and routing
- Configure and manage AWS security controls including NACLs, Security Groups, and Firewalls to maintain a robust security posture
- Deploy and manage core AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Step Functions, SSM, IAM, Backup, ACM, and KMS
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Deep expertise in AWS infrastructure and networking: VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, WAN, NAT, routing, NACLs, Security Groups, and Firewalls
- Proficiency in core AWS services: EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, Step Functions, SSM, IAM, Backup, ACM, KMS
