Network Security Engineer – (Juniper & Wireless) 6 months – On Site in West London

Hamilton Barnes is seeking Juniper and Wireless professional to join our client\’s team on an initial 6–month contract, working with one of the UK\’s leading organisations in the technology and Networking space.

The role is on site based 5 days a week in West London, offering the opportunity to work on a high–impact programme within a complex enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, implement, and support enterprise–grade networks using Juniper Routers and Switches.
  • Provide troubleshooting and escalation support for complex wired and wireless networking issues.
  • Configure and manage wireless infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Assist in the deployment and maintenance of F5 load balancers.
  • Collaborate with cross–functional teams to support network upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning.

What You Will Ideally Bring:

  • Expert–level experience with Juniper routing and switching platforms (eg, MX, EX, SRX).
  • Strong understanding of wireless networking (802.11 standards, WLAN controllers, access points).
  • Experience with F5 load balancing technologies.
  • Proficient in network protocols (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, STP, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge of network security principles and best practices.

Contract Details:

  • Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
  • Day Rate: Up to GBP400 per day (Inside IR35)
