Network Security Engineer – (Checkpoint & Proxy) 6 months – On Site in West London
Hamilton Barnes is seeking Checkpoint and Proxy professional to join our client\’s team on an initial 6–month contract, working with one of the UK\’s leading organisations in the technology and Networking space.
The role is on site based 5 days a week in West London, offering the opportunity to work on a high–impact programme within a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Checkpoint Maestro Firewall environments.
- Implement and support Forcepoint web Proxy solutions for enterprise traffic inspection.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats.
- Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to ensure secure architecture designs.
- Manage security policies, NAT, and VPN configurations across Firewall appliances.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Proven expertise in Checkpoint Maestro setup and administration.
- Hands–on experience with Forcepoint Web Proxy (cloud or on–prem).
- Strong background in Firewall rule management and policy optimisation.
- Knowledge of network security protocols, threat management, and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident response workflows.
- Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
- Day Rate: Up to GBP400 per day (Inside IR35)
- Start Date: ASAP
