We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to join a secure programme environment on a contract basis. This is a hands-on technical role operating at CCNP level or above (current certification not required but ability must be demonstrable), focused on the design, implementation, and validation of complex physical and virtual network infrastructure in a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and validate physical and virtual networking components across a complex, secure environment
- Produce and review network design artefacts and supporting engineering documentation
- Deliver network configuration implementation and testing with a focus on secure, repeatable solutions
- Perform network monitoring and traffic analysis to maintain performance, security, and service reliability
- Support hardware and software configuration, life cycle management, and system testing activities
- Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders, communicating and justifying proposed solutions effectively
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Proven network engineering experience operating at CCNP level or above (essential)
- Hands-on experience with ESXi 8.0.3 and vSphere 8.0.3 (essential)
- Experience with Cisco Nexus
