Network Cloud Engineer - Outside IR35 - Remote
Hamilton Barnes are currently hiring a Network Cloud Engineer supporting a Cisco Gold Partner through a major cloud transformation programme. Four concurrent migration projects requiring strong on-prem and cloud networking expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver network changes across 4 concurrent cloud migration projects
- Configure and manage routing protocols on-prem and within Azure (AWS/GCP a bonus)
- Manage DNS and VPN solutions within cloud environments
- Perform Firewall administration across Palo Alto Next-Gen Firewalls
- Configure and support Meraki infrastructure at an advanced level
- Participate in approximately 2 weekend migration windows over the contract
Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years as a Network Engineer
- CCNP certified (minimum)
- Strong routing skills - on-prem and cloud
- Hands-on Azure networking (DNS, VPN, routing)
- AWS desirable; GCP a bonus
- Advanced Meraki configuration experience (ideal)
- Palo Alto Firewall experience (ideal)
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months initial (longer term extension available)
- Location: 100% remote
- Rate: £300/day
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Start: Immediate
