We are looking for an experienced Network Security Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that improve the efficiency, consistency, and security of enterprise network security operations. In this role, you'll automate Firewall rule life cycle management, policy validation, compliance reporting, and operational workflows using Scripting, APIs, and infrastructure automation tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement automation solutions for network security operations, including Firewall rule life cycle management, creation, modification, review, and decommissioning.
- Develop automated policy validation, security control verification, and compliance reporting solutions.
- Implement API-based integrations across security and network management platforms.
- Develop scripts and workflows using PowerShell, Python, and Bash to automate operational processes and reduce manual effort.
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Chef, troubleshooting and optimising automation workflows.
What You Will Ideally Bring
- Strong experience in network security automation, Firewall rule life cycle management, and policy validation.
- Solid Scripting ability in Python, PowerShell, and Bash, with REST API integration experience.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools, including Ansible, Terraform, and Chef.
- Experience building compliance reporting and audit automation solutions.
- Desirable, exposure to AlgoSec, Zero Trust/SASE/SSE technologies, and certifications such as CISSP, PCNSE, or CCNP Security.
