Role Overview:
We are seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to fill a crucial role within our client's service team. This position involves both pre and post-sales support, with opportunities for UK-wide and international travel. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in commissioning systems, conducting fieldwork, and providing exceptional customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Traveling to customer sites for commissioning and support, with occasional international travel (typically up to 2 weeks at a time every other month)
- Monitoring and supporting stadium systems across the UK.
- Collaborating with the systems engineering team on design and implementation projects.
- Conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) for system deployments.
- Providing training and technical support to operators and clients.
- Basic RF knowledge, including one or more of power dBm, spectrum analyser operation, signal generator use, and understanding of cabling and antenna types.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site as required.
It would be great if you also had:
- Rigging experience
- IT/Networking skills, including IP addressing and router setups
- SC Clearance is highly desirable but not mandatory
Package:
- Basic Salary: Starting at Β£40,000 with flexibility for the right candidate.
- Daily allowance for travel expenses, including accommodation and meals.
- Performance-based bonus
- Pool vehicle for business use or fuel usage covered (whichever you prefer)
- On-call allowance (1 in 3 rotation - circa Β£1,000+ extra per annum)
- Annual leave starting at 23 days, increasing to 25 with service.
