We're working with a growing London-based MSP who are looking for an L1 / L2 Wi-Fi Engineer to join their technical team. This is a good opportunity for someone who has a strong foundation across networking, but is especially comfortable with Wi-Fi / wireless troubleshooting and wants to keep developing in that area.
The role:
- Supporting customer Wi-Fi and network environments
- Troubleshooting access points, SSIDs, VLANs and connectivity issues
- Working across wired and wireless network support
- Supporting customer sites across London
- Assisting with deployments, upgrades and site changes
- Working closely with senior engineers on escalations
- Getting exposure to wider infrastructure, connectivity and MSP environments
Useful experience:
- Wi-Fi / wireless troubleshooting
- Access points, SSIDs, signal issues and roaming
- Aruba, Meraki, Ubiquiti, Ruckus or similar
- VLANs, DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP and basic routing
- Switches, firewalls, VPNs and connectivity support
- Customer-facing support experience
- MSP, NOC, field engineering or network support background
This would suit someone currently working as a:

- Wireless Support Engineer
- Wi-Fi Engineer
- NOC Engineer
- Field Network Engineer
- 1st / 2nd Line Network Engineer
You do not need to be a senior wireless specialist, but you do need to be confident troubleshooting Wi-Fi issues and explaining your thought process clearly.

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
