Technical Lead (Golang)| 1 year | London, UK (Hybrid - 3 days/week in office)
\nWe're recruiting for an experienced Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale cloud-native applications using Golang, Microservices Architecture, and Azure Cloud technologies for a leading organisation. The role requires hands-on technical leadership, architecture governance, and mentoring capabilities to drive high-quality software delivery while ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence across multiple Agile teams.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-scale applications across Agile teams \n
- Provide technical leadership, architectural direction, and engineering best practices to development teams \n
- Design and develop high-performance applications using Golang and cloud-native technologies \n
- Build scalable, secure, and resilient microservices-based solutions \n
- Conduct architecture reviews, design assessments, and code quality reviews \n
- Define solution designs, technical standards, and implementation approaches \n
- Implement distributed system patterns and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles \n
- Design and optimise data solutions leveraging Document Databases and NoSQL technologies \n
- Collaborate with architects, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver business-aligned solutions \n
- Mentor engineers and drive continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence \n
What You Will Ideally Bring

- Strong hands-on experience in Golang application development \n
- Extensive experience designing and implementing Microservices Architecture \n
- Strong understanding of Distributed Systems and Cloud-Native Development principles \n
- Experience designing scalable, highly available, and resilient applications \n
- Expertise in REST API design and enterprise integration patterns \n
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and container-based deployment platforms \n
- Experience with Document Databases, NoSQL technologies, and data modelling \n
- Proven experience leading Agile engineering teams and technical delivery initiatives \n
- Strong solution design, architecture governance, and technical decision-making capabilities \n
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills \n
- Kubernetes (AKS) and container orchestration experience (desirable) \n
- Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms experience (desirable) \n
