Are you a cyber security professional who doesn't want to be boxed into one niche? We're looking for a mid-level Security Consultant to join an established international advisory team working at the intersection of cyber security, risk, and resilience. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone with 3–5 years' experience who enjoys variety, challenge, and working with clients on complex security issues.
If you're curious, adaptable, and comfortable moving between technical, risk, and advisory work — this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Advising organisations on how to identify, manage, and reduce cyber and information security risk
- Supporting security assessments, maturity reviews, and gap analyses
- Helping clients develop practical security strategies, policies, and operating models
- Working across governance, risk, compliance, and technical security topics
- Supporting incident response, investigations, and post-incident reviews when required
- Producing high-quality client-facing reports and presentations
- Working directly with clients and stakeholders in German and English
- Staying on top of emerging cyber threats, regulatory changes, and global risk trends
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years' experience in cyber security, information security, technology risk, or consulting
- Exposure to multiple areas of security, such as:
- Cyber & information security risk
- GRC and regulatory compliance
- Technical controls and architecture
- Cloud, infrastructure, or IAM
- Incident response or security operations
Language Skills (Essential)
- Fluent German (spoken and written)
- Professional working proficiency in English
Nice to Have (But Not Essential)
- Consulting or client-facing experience
- Security certifications (or working towards them), e.g.:
- ISO 27001
- CISSP (Associate), CISM, CRISC
- Cloud security certifications
