Role Overview
The position combines production-quality Python Scripting and tooling with operational support of PingDS (ForgeRock DS), working across automation, deployment, migration, and production support activities. The role sits within a modern DevOps environment and requires familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and AI-assisted development tooling.
Key Responsibilities
Develop production-quality Python scripts, utilities, APIs, and integrations for automation, data processing, and operational tasks across IAM and Directory Services environments.
Support IAM and Directory Services platforms - primarily PingDS (ForgeRock DS) - across migration, upgrade, configuration, deployment, and production support activities.
Administer and manage Linux/RHEL environments, including filesystem management, log analysis, networking fundamentals, and performance troubleshooting.
Automate migration, deployment, reconciliation, validation, monitoring, and operational activities using Python and Bash/Shell Scripting within CI/CD pipelines.
Maintain and contribute to modern engineering practices including Git, Python package management, testing frameworks, and secure coding standards across the development life cycle.
