Golang Engineer - 12-Month Contract - Inside IR35 - Hybrid (London or Bristol, 3 days onsite)
We are seeking Golang Engineers to join the Mobile Frameworks Lab at a leading UK retail and commercial banking organisation, on a 12-month hybrid contract based in London or Bristol (3 days on-site). The team builds innovative solutions to understand and improve how customers interact with the bank, and you will help maintain and develop the secure Go microservices behind them.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot secure Go microservices
- Develop and consume REST APIs within a containerised, microservices architecture
- Deploy and manage services on Kubernetes using Helm
- Apply best coding practices, code management, agile development, and continuous delivery
- Work collaboratively within the team and independently, bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting secure Go microservices
- Kubernetes and Helm deployment experience
- REST APIs, containerisation, and microservices architecture
- Java development experience desirable
- SQL database familiarity desirable
- Monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk desirable
- Strong knowledge of coding best practice, agile, and continuous delivery
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

- Day Rate: £430
- Determination: Inside IR35
- Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week onsite, London/Bristol
