A UK-based organisation is looking to hire a Finance Systems IT Support Analyst to take ownership of critical Finance platforms and the data flows that underpin financial reporting, controls, and decision-making. This is a hands-on role sitting between Finance, Data, and IT — responsible not just for supporting systems, but for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and usability of Finance data across the business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Own and support core Finance systems, including Microsoft Dynamics (Finance) and Continia
- Provide day-to-day system administration, issue resolution, and user support
- Use SQL to build queries, troubleshoot data issues, and support Finance reporting needs
- Work with DBT to manage and maintain Finance data pipelines and transformations
- Support and maintain BI dashboards and reporting layers (Metabase or similar tools)
- Partner closely with Finance teams to translate reporting requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure data integrity across Finance systems, integrations, and reporting layers
- Contribute to wider IT support activity (L1–L3) when required
- Support audits, controls, and compliance requirements across Finance systems
- Support ETL processes, data integration, and Finance data structures
What we’re looking for:
- Experience supporting Finance systems in a technical or hybrid IT/Finance role
- Strong SQL skills for reporting, troubleshooting, and data validation
- Exposure to ERP or Finance platforms (Dynamics highly desirable)
- Understanding of Finance processes (ledgers, invoicing, reporting cycles)
- Experience with BI tools and/or data pipelines (DBT advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy and system reliability
- Comfortable working directly with Finance stakeholders in a support capacity
Package:
- Salary up to £60,000
- Opportunity to work across Finance systems, data pipelines, and BI in a business-critical environment
