Network Engineer – Stockley Park – Up to £70,000 (DOE)
I’m currently hiring on behalf of a leading broadcast media company to find a talented Network Engineer who’s ready to step into a hands-on, design-led role with real impact. You will be working for a company that assists in broadcasting live sporting events, including the Premier League!
Location: West Drayton
Work Setup: 5 days a week on-site
Salary: Up to £70,000
Hours: Standard 8-hour day plus 1-hour break - Flexible starts between 8–11am
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage networking solutions (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Support core network infrastructure: Cisco Catalyst 9200/9300, Nexus 5000, FTD under FMC, FortiGate
- Participate in Weekend support (1 in 5 weekends) with time-off in lieu
- Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders to deliver projects across live broadcast studios and data centres
Experience Required:
Must-Haves:
- CCNP-level knowledge or equivalent
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, firewalls
- Strong background in network design
- Extensive BGP Experience
Nice-to-Haves:
- Basic Linux CLI
- Network automation experience
- Multicast / Production / Content delivery network exposure
- FortiGate firewall experience
