Job Description
Lead DataSphere Consultant- 6 months initially – Inside IR35 – Hybrid in Watford
Hamilton Barnes is seeking an experienced, hands-on SAP Datasphere Consultant to join one of the Worlds Leading Consultancies on an initial six-month contract. In this hybrid role (three days per week onsite in Watford, you will lead the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise data solutions using SAP Datasphere. You will collaborate closely with internal engineering teams, Product Owners, DevOps, cybersecurity, risk management, and external SAP partners to drive data integration, governance, and analytics excellence. This role is critical in ensuring a secure, scalable, and business-aligned data environment that supports the organisation's transformation and strategic decision-making initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, and maintain the enterprise data architecture within SAP Datasphere, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Implement advanced data models using spaces, views, and semantic layers to support operational and analytical use cases.
- Integrate data from SAP (eg, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and non-SAP sources (eg, APIs, cloud platforms) to enable end-to-end analytics.
- Design and tune data pipelines for both Real Time and batch processing within SAP Datasphere.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions in SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud)
- Proficiency in building complex data models using spaces, views, semantic layers, and graphical modelling tools.
- Deep understanding of integrating SAP (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA) and non-SAP sources (cloud platforms, APIs, flat files) into Datasphere.
- Experience in managing metadata, data lineage, access controls, and enforcing governance policies within SAP Datasphere.
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (View for Extension)
- Day Rate: Up to £600 per day (Inside IR35)
- Location: Hybrid 3x a week in Watford
