Their capabilities are further strengthened by a dedicated support desk, configuration centres in London and the North West of England, and ongoing investment in skilled personnel. This enables them to deliver comprehensive network solutions across multiple technologies and industry sectors.
Many of the company’s projects involve large-scale, multi-site operations, often exceeding 1,000 locations across the UK and Europe, requiring data and electrical installations as well as PC/EPOS rollouts.
Unlike many in the industry who rely on subcontractors, our client takes a different approach. By directly employing over 120 engineers, they ensure the highest quality of workmanship and maintain full control over project standards.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Daily cat5/cat data cabling
- Installation of various IT Equipment
- Wi-Fi and EPOS installations
- Digital signage installs/maintenance - digital images, signs etc.
- Installing new cabinets - fibre/electrical
- Electrical work in retail/shops
- Fault finding/fixed wire testing
Skillset required for the role:
- Extensive 2391 & Testing experience
- Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a cabling experience
- JIB Gold Card OR AM2 Pass Certificate
- Strong electrical installation background
Salary and benefits:
- £15.99 to £16.91 per hour (typically 45 - 50 hours across the week)
- Van and fuel card
- Private healthcare
- Pension scheme
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays
- PEE and tools provided
- Accommodation and travel expenses are covered
- Overtime opportunities - 1.5x is applied after 7 1/2 hours Monday to Friday
- Weekends work is available and optional
- Night work is 1.5x
