Are you a skilled IP Network Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity?

You’ll have the chance to join a dynamic team as an IP Network Engineer at a global ISP, providing technical and administrative support to the live networks and infrastructure.

Your main objective will be to ensure the optimal availability of client services and resolve network outages and anomalies within SLA targets.

  • You”ll proactively monitor network performance and take immediate action to address any issues, ensuring smooth operations.
  • You”ll troubleshoot and manage network faults, working efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain high service levels.
  • You”ll collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, including NOC engineers, project managers, and field operations engineers, to coordinate fault resolution and optimize network performance.

You’ll join a telecommunications company with a strong presence in the industry. As an IP Network Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of the company”s networks, including analogue and digital systems. You’ll need strong technical expertise in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and experience with Cisco or Juniper equipment.

  • You’ll proactively monitor network performance, ensuring optimal availability of client services
  • You’ll troubleshoot and manage network faults, resolving issues within SLA targets
  • You’ll collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to coordinate fault resolution and optimize network performance
  • You’ll maintain the up-to-date and reliable representation of the network on the Network Management System (NMS)
  • Degree in Electrical or Telecommunications engineering or equivalent qualification
  • Advanced knowledge of analogue and digital systems, including switching and transmission equipment
  • Proficiency in IP networks and technologies, with a solid understanding of CDMA, SDH, DWDM, MPLS, voice, and data technologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network faults efficiently
