Hamilton Barnes is currently seeking an experienced IBM Z Series Security Administrator with strong RACF expertise to join a financial organisation. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and enhancing the security of the IBM Z Series Mainframe environment, ensuring robust access control and compliance in a highly regulated and security-focused setting.
This is an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for extension, working hybrid in Swindon. This role offers the opportunity to work with critical infrastructure at scale, alongside cutting-edge Mainframe technologies in a security-driven enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Security Management: Implement and manage security policies and procedures for the IBM Z Series environment.
- RACF Administration: Configure and maintain RACF (Resource Access Control Facility) to ensure secure access control.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and Auditing: Regularly monitor and audit security logs and reports to identify and address potential security threats.
- Incident Response: Respond to security incidents and breaches, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the Mainframe environment.
