The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.
Contracting role based across Yeovil and Basingstoke (fully on-site, 5 days per week) for a 12-month engagement within a manufacturing environment. You will provide hands-on end user computing and field support across PC, VDI, mobile devices, and printing services, supporting both on-site and remote users across the region with day-to-day IT incidents, break-fix, and technology rollout activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site and remote EUC support across PC, VDI, and mobile devices including break-fix for hardware and software
- Deliver printing service support including troubleshooting, configuration, and maintenance of print and scanning devices
- Support PC life cycle management including Windows imaging, OS deployments, hardware upgrades, and data migration
- Facilitate new technology implementations including setup, configuration, and end user training
- Support the IT Navigator and Mobile IT Solution Centre (MITSC) services as required
- Coordinate loan of IT accessories and manage asset control, inventory, and returns
- Provide desktop application support including MS Office, O365, VPN, and OneDrive troubleshooting
- Install, inspect, and test wiring and cabling, ensuring all specifications and standards are met
