Field Service Security Engineer – 6 Month Contract – Inside IR35
My client is seeking an experienced Field Service Security Engineer for an initial 6-month contract based in Camberley. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge security technology, including CCTV, Access Control, IoT Gateways & Sensors, Fire & Intruder Alarm Systems, and Public Address & Voice Alarm Systems.
- Location: Camberley
- Contract Duration: 6 months
- Start Date: ASAP
- Rate: Negotiable (Inside IR35)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and service a variety of security and safety systems.
- Retrofit upgrades/extensions to existing systems as part of remedial works.
- Provide expert advice to clients on system enhancements.
- Interpret site plans and execute installations based on survey documentation.
- Ensure all work is completed on time and in accordance with company standards.
- Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism.
- Strictly adhere to Health & Safety regulations and report any issues.
Key Requirements:
Certifications/Qualifications:
- Valid CSCS/ECS Card
- PTS Certification (preferred)
- DBS Clearance (for public sector environments)
- IPAF/PASMA/Asbestos Awareness Certification
- Recent or current electrical qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience & Skills:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong technical expertise in security systems.
- Knowledge of manufacturers such as Genetec, Gallagher, Bosch, Dahua, Milestone, PAC, Win-Pak, Veracity, and more (preferred).
- Experience working within a BAFE/SSAIB/NSI accredited company is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in the Rail sector (advantageous).
- Strong communication, organisation, and project management skills.
- Commercial awareness and ability to work across installation and service tasks.
