Our client is an ambitious Alt-Net and gearing up to connect 25,000 new homes in 2025. They are expanding their global footprint and transforming how broadband is delivered. With major network rollouts underway and a genuine commitment to doing things differently, you’ll have the chance to influence strategy and shape the planning strategy. Responsibilities:

  • Ensure fibre projects are delivered accurately, on time, and in line with design specifications
  • Coordinate and schedule planning tasks across multiple projects
  • Prioritise workloads and monitor progress of planning activities
  • Take ownership of planning from execution through to delivery
  • Produce detailed fibre network maps for civils, fibre build, and customer installs
  • Support field teams with clear, accurate mapping and planning data
  • Liaise with internal teams, external partners, and third parties
  • Plan and coordinate network changes, upgrades, and expansions
  • Ensure all planning aligns with agreed design standards and methodologies

Skills/Must have:

  • A deep understanding of end-to-end fibre network build processes
  • Strong personal motivation and the ability to deliver consistently within key performance indicators
  • A solid track record of success in the telecoms sector, particularly within project delivery or planning roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Experience with GIS platforms and mapping tools
  • Proficiency in desktop planning tools and processes
  • Confidence in preparing detailed job packs to support engineering and build teams
