Keep London's transport network running.

We're supporting a global leader in transportation technology that's expanding its engineering team across London.

They're looking for Electrical Maintenance Engineers to maintain the critical electrical infrastructure that powers docking stations and terminal equipment across the capital.

If you're a qualified electrician looking for a field-based role with excellent training, a great work-life balance, and long-term career progression, this could be the perfect opportunity.

What's in it for you?

  • £38,500 basic salary + £2,000 annual on-call allowance
  • 4-on, 4-off shift pattern with regular extended time off
  • Specialist technical training and ongoing development
  • Permanent position with a globally recognised technology business
  • Immediate starts available, although all notice periods will be considered

The Role

You'll carry out planned maintenance and fault finding on electrical infrastructure across London, including docking stations and terminal units.

The role involves replacing protective devices such as RCDs and MCBs within feeder pillars, responding to electrical faults, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards.

Working independently across your allocated area, you'll manage maintenance records, respond to on-call incidents (approximately four nights per month), and play a key role in keeping essential transport infrastructure operational.

Requirements

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong fault-finding ability and commitment to safe working practices
  • Happy working independently in a field-based environment

If you're looking for a secure, long-term opportunity with excellent benefits, ongoing training and genuine career progression, we'd love to hear from you!
