We are looking for a Hybrid Network and Cloud Engineer to join a small, close-knit team of 6 on a hybrid in London. The role is responsible for maintaining a highly available hybrid cloud, network, and server connectivity infrastructure alongside a Palo Alto firewall estate - requiring a hands-on, versatile engineer comfortable wearing multiple hats across network, cloud, systems administration, and end-user support in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor hybrid cloud and network infrastructure across Azure, on-premises, and internet connectivity, performing daily system and network monitoring and proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Manage and maintain the Palo Alto firewall estate, VPNs, inter-site connectivity, and routing and switching infrastructure, managing switch and firewall software updates and deployments.
  • Support the migration from SCCM to Intune for endpoint management across laptops and iPhones, managing application deployment, patching, and device compliance using Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
  • Repair and recover from hardware and software failures across the full infrastructure stack, providing end-user and VIP support including ad-hoc troubleshooting across all areas of the environment.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and PowerShell to automate deployments and operational tasks, and produce and maintain accurate infrastructure documentation.
