CDE Consultant- Hybrid in Warwick β Inside IR35 β 6 months
We are seeking an experienced Common Data Environment (CDE) & Building Information Modelling (BIM) Consultant to join our team. This pivotal role, based in Warwick (3 days per week on-site), requires deep expertise in managing digital workflows for construction projects, driving BIM adoption, and overseeing the effective use of CDE platforms to ensure accurate, secure, and coordinated information exchange among stakeholders. As the authoritative resource on BIM implementation best practices, standards compliance, and data governance, you will play a critical role in enabling collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams and ensuring successful digital delivery outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead setup, configuration, and optimization of Common Data Environments (CDE) for collaborative data management.
- Ensure secure, accurate, and efficient information sharing across disciplines.
- Advise on BIM standards, protocols (eg, ISO 19650), and best practices across all project phases.
- Work with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to integrate BIM workflows and resolve coordination challenges.
- Deliver workshops, training sessions, and continuous learning to raise BIM/CDE capability within teams and organizations.
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Hands-on experience with CDE platforms (Autodesk BIM 360, Bentley ProjectWise, Trimble Connect, etc.).
- Strong proficiency with BIM authoring and coordination tools (Revit, Navisworks).
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 19650 and UK-specific BIM/data standards.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, digital twins, and 3D visualization.
- Ability to design, enforce, and monitor BIM Execution Plans and workflows.
