We're currently working with a leading Formula 1 team on a Principal Information Security Engineer opportunity within their Enterprise Technology function.
This is a high-impact, hands-on security leadership role , replacing the current Head of Information Security.
You’ll provide technical direction to a small team while remaining heavily involved in the engineering and operational detail.
THE ROLE
- You’ll have ownership across the organisation’s cyber defence capability, including:
- Lead security operations, monitoring and incident response
- Own and optimise the security tooling stack
- Configure, tune and integrate security technologies
- Improve detection and reduce false positives
- Identify attack paths and strengthen controls
- Apply attacker TTPs to improve defensive capability
- Provide pragmatic security advice to the wider business
- Lead and mentor two Security Engineers
- Manage MSSPs, vendors and third-party relationships
- Drive continuous security improvements
- Protect both factory and trackside environments
