Contracting role based in London (Hybrid, 2-3 days in office) for a 6-month engagement, working on enterprise data governance, privacy and security transformation programmes. You will be responsible for end-to-end implementation and configuration of the BigID platform, enabling secure data discovery, classification, and retention across complex, multi-source data environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure the BigID platform and its modules across enterprise data environments
- Develop data ingestion pipelines for scanning and retention
- Configure connectors for databases, cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and file systems
- Enable data discovery, classification, and tagging across structured and unstructured sources
- Onboard new data sources and integrate pipelines into existing workflows
- Implement and manage data retention policies and workflows
- Optimise scan performance and resolve technical issues
What You Will Ideally Bring:
- Hands-on experience with the BigID platform - essential
- Strong data engineering and ETL pipeline experience
- Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Solid understanding of data governance and privacy principles
