The team is hiring three 1st Line Network Support Engineers, ideal for graduates, 1st Line IT Support Engineers, or NOC Engineers looking to specialise in networking. You’ll gain exposure to real-world network issues, circuit faults, third-party suppliers, and structured troubleshooting in a live operational environment.
This role is 5 days a week onsite in Solihull, working within a shift-based support model. The team is particularly keen to speak with candidates who are comfortable covering later shifts, which is currently a key gap.
Responsibilities- Provide 1st Line network support for customer and internal services.
- Log, triage, and manage incidents through to resolution or escalation.
- Investigate and raise circuit and connectivity faults with third-party providers.
- Carry out basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Use basic networking commands to gather information and identify issues.
- Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers to progress incidents.
- Maintain accurate ticket updates and clear communication throughout.
- Interest in networking and connectivity technologies.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, circuits, connectivity).
- Comfortable following processes and troubleshooting methodically.
