Responsibilities
- Define tools and frameworks to develop and maintain test automation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for automation across the test lifecycle.
- Collaborate with development teams to define strategy and best practices.
- Shift testing left through early engagement and automation in the SDLC.
- Create and maintain clear documentation for all test automation solutions.
- Continuously improve testing practices and frameworks.
- Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies and own QA processes across sprints.
- Stay current with advancements in test automation tools and techniques.
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of experience in test automation, with hands-on framework development.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.
- Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
- Familiarity with Playwright, Node.js, and BDD tools such as Cucumber.
- Knowledge of Percy and BrowserStack for visual and cross-browser testing.
- API automation experience using Postman or similar tools.
- CI/CD integration experience using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
- Proficient in Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming principles.
- Experience working in Agile environments with tools like Jira and Zephyr.
Salary
- Β£375 per day (Inside IR35)
