The company is looking for a Network Engineer to support highly available, low-latency network infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments within a leading global trading environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as escalation point within the Network Operations team
- Troubleshoot and support complex routing & switching environments
- Work with BGP, OSPF, MPLS and multicast
- Manage and troubleshoot firewalls and network security
- Handle major incidents, escalations and real-time network issues
- Support customer connectivity and production network changes
- Analyse network performance and packet-level issues
Skills/Must Have:
- Strong routing & switching experience (BGP, Multicast)
- Strong firewall experience (Any next gen firewalls)
- Experience in high-availability or latency-sensitive environments
- Linux/Unix skills – desirable
- Python, scripting or network automation – desirable
Location:
- London, Hybrid
Salary:
- Up to £150,000 (Depending on experience)
