They are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team at their North London (Stanmore) office, supporting a growing portfolio of projects scheduled to commence in the New Year. Responsibilities- Develop mechanical building services designs for critical environments
- Carry out engineering calculations using industry-standard software
- Produce technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation
- Conduct site surveys, inspections and condition reports
- Attend and contribute to technical meetings with consultants and contractors
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to graduates and junior engineers
- Mechanical building services design experience
- Ability to develop designs with a degree of autonomy
- Strong willingness to learn and articulate clear career goals
- Engineering qualification (Degree, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services)
- Awareness of mechanical or electrical design software
- SC clearable (Security Check)
- Experience using Amtech, Revit, IES or Dialux
- Exposure to data centre or other critical environment projects
- Clear, self-led development pathway with bespoke development plans
- Quarterly performance and development reviews
