Responsibilities:
- Govern and maintain the accuracy of network asset data
- Translate and manage large spatial datasets in collaboration with IT
- Ensure high data quality in asset and customer management systems
- Oversee receipt and validation of as-built documentation
- Enforce consistent and cost-effective network designs
- Support cross-functional resolution of planning or technical issues
- Drive continuous improvement across design standards, processes, and reporting
- Help achieve department and personal KPIs
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of GIS data/metadata and its application in infrastructure or service provision
- Strong IT infrastructure knowledge, particularly as it relates to GIS systems
- Based within a commutable distance of the network footprint
- Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp civils and fibre network planning/design in the UK
- Knowledge of FTTH/P network components and architecture
- Familiarity with Openreach’s PIA product and usage
- Experience with GIS tools like APX, DPComm, or similar infrastructure-specific platforms
