The organisation is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Solution Architect on a 6-month hybrid contract based in Reading, UK (3 days on-site). The role requires strong hands-on cybersecurity expertise focused on designing and improving enterprise security across both IT and OT environments.
Responsibilities
- Design and define end-to-end cybersecurity solutions aligned with enterprise security standards and business requirements.
- Lead vulnerability identification, assessment, prioritisation, and remediation across large enterprise IT and OT environments.
- Provide architectural guidance on secure system design, threat modelling, and risk-based decision making.
- Work closely with infrastructure, application, and OT teams to embed security controls into architectures and operations.
- Support continuous improvement of vulnerability management processes and overall security posture.
Required Skills/Qualifications
- 5+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience in enterprise environments, with strong expertise in vulnerability management including identification, tracking, remediation, and reporting.
- Proven exposure to OT security and vulnerability management across Operational Technology environments.
- Experience as a security architect across multiple security domains, with knowledge of Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Ability to translate security requirements into practical solutions, working across cross-functional infrastructure, application, and OT teams.
- Experience working within water utilities or regulated critical infrastructure environments.

- Contract Type: Initial 6 month contract (Inside IR35)
