Responsibilities
- Act as an escalation point for SOC Analysts, supporting triage and resolution of complex security incidents
- Lead and facilitate tabletop exercises with clients to test and improve their incident response capabilities
- Design, build, and maintain playbooks to support consistent and effective incident response
- Develop and manage log analytics workspaces to enhance detection and visibility
- Work with Microsoft Sentinel to monitor, investigate, and respond to security threats across client environments
- Leverage Microsoft Defender to identify and remediate threats across endpoints and cloud workloads
- Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC processes, detection rules, and response procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver a high standard of security operations
Skills/Must Have
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Sentinel
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Defender
- Experience working in a SOC or security engineering role
- Strong understanding of cyber security threats, attack techniques, and incident response
- Experience building or maintaining playbooks and detection content
- Good communication skills with the ability to engage with clients confidently
- Az-500 certification is desirable but not essential
