They are now seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team at their North London (Stanmore) office, supporting a growing portfolio of projects scheduled to commence in the New Year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop mechanical building services designs for critical environments
  • Carry out engineering calculations using industry-standard software
  • Produce technical drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Conduct site surveys, inspections and condition reports
  • Attend and contribute to technical meetings with consultants and contractors
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to graduates and junior engineers

Skills / Must-Have

  • Mechanical building services design experience
  • Ability to develop designs with a degree of autonomy
  • Strong willingness to learn and articulate clear career goals
  • Engineering qualification (Degree, BTEC or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services)
  • Awareness of mechanical or electrical design software
  • SC clearable (Security Check)

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience using Amtech, Revit, IES or Dialux
  • Exposure to data centre or other critical environment projects
