This consulting firm is seeking a RHEL Virtualization Architect to design and deliver vendor-neutral architecture for Red Hat Open Shift within a Telco Cloud environment.

This role will define platform components, infrastructure topology, and integration patterns to support secure, scalable, and resilient deployments while shaping migration strategies, enabling automation, and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and operational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide architecture and design consultancy to ensure seamless integration with external systems and automation frameworks.
  • Lead migration planning from Tanzu to Open Shift, including dependency mapping, downtime planning, and rollback strategies.
  • Support migration of non-production clusters to Open Shift environments.
  • Design and implement Open Shift lifecycle management processes, including patching, upgrades, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Drive load balancer migration from AVI to Metal LB, including design, planning, and execution

Skills/Must Have

  • Strong experience with Red Hat Open Shift, Kubernetes, and Tanzu platforms.
  • Proven experience planning and executing platform migrations, particularly from Tanzu to Open Shift
  • Knowledge of platform lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, and monitoring
  • Ability to design scalable, resilient architectures within Telco Cloud or similar environments
