The company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Pricing Strategist to support daily supply chain and logistics operations.

This role will be responsible for coordinating shipments, monitoring inventory movements, maintaining accurate system records, and supporting operational efficiency across warehouse and transportation activities.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain standard contract pricing.
  • Create and work with pricing infrastructure currently spread across multiple different heterogeneous platforms and work towards the unification of it.
  • Evaluate competition pricing.
  • Work with Product Directors and Sales Managers on pricing proposals and put together RFP’s and Quotes maintained in Microsoft CRM.
  • Work with cross functional teams to provide pricing, recommend pricing based on previous analysis, trends and help build a pricing model that may increase the win to loss ratio.
  • Work with Sales Admins, Contract Coordinator and Finance regarding quotes prepared.
  • Design different pricing models based on partnerships and direct business.
  • Pricing proposals include work for both government and commercial customers and may require multi facet RFP and RFQ skills.
  • Pricing strategy needs to be converted to cost models.
  • While some pricing proposals are very simple, some are very complex and need a clear understanding of business processes to prepare requested quotes.
  • Capable of preparing and running pricing scenarios.
  • Work to establish standardized pricing strategy.
  • Prepare Cost analysis (Profitability analysis) on price quote / RFP when requested or required.
  • Create reports on weekly / monthly bid activity based on products / services quoted as requested or required.

Skills/Must have

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university.
  • 1-2 years related experience in Pricing, Contracts, Cost Analysis, RFP’s (Request for Proposal).
  • Heavy MS Excel user – Statistical Analysis, Pivot tables, Graphs, Charts, Trending, Quantitative analytical skills.
  • Heavy MS Word and MS Power Point experience.
  • Recommended MS CRM and Great Plains experience.
  • Any Macro’s Templates skills will be a plus.
  • Great communication and teamwork skills.
  • Being able to multitask will be the key.
  • Being able to work with multiple organizations and teams within the Company.
  • Ability to work a regular schedule of 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM BST/GMT, Monday through Friday.
  • Availability for occasional weekend on-call support.
  • Ability to work on-site in an operational environment.
  • Employment may be subject to background screening and reference checks in accordance with applicable laws.
