Key Responsibilities
- Conduct technical analysis during project feasibility, providing input for business cases and related documentation.
- Contribute to IT roadmaps, reference architectures, patterns, and standards, particularly within Intelligent Process Automation (IPA).
- Represent and communicate network technical requirements, constraints, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.
- Produce high-level and detailed architectural designs across Integration, Data, Infrastructure, Platform, and Security domains in agile or waterfall environments.
- Present designs to internal design authorities, ensuring alignment with reference architectures and standards.
- Act as the network lead technologist across automation initiatives and project portfolios.
- Create technical documentation such as server build sheets, Firewall configs, DNS specs, interface definitions, load balancing designs, and certificate requirements.
- Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure compliance with architecture and security standards.
- Support the development of criteria for product and technology selection.
- Lead or contribute to technical workshops with stakeholders and suppliers.
- Support IPA discovery and delivery activities, including configuration standards, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor's degree in Computing, Engineering, or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years' experience as a Solution Architect (flexible depending on depth of skill).
- Strong background delivering cross-technology solutions and software/engineering design.
- Solid understanding of network design best practices, security standards, and error handling/monitoring approaches.
- Demonstrated ability to produce pragmatic, business-aligned solutions that balance constraints and strategy.
- Experience setting technical standards within RPA, coding, or wider digital technologies.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, able to explain complex ideas clearly.
- Experience leading or mentoring technical teams, including offshore teams.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced transformation programmes using agile methodologies.
- Curious and proactive, with a willingness to explore emerging technologies.

Day Rate: £350 Per Day - £425 Per Day (Inside IR35)
