Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join a well-established UK Managed Service Provider supporting SME and mid-market clients across IT infrastructure, connectivity, cyber security, and cloud. The organisation is expanding its commercial function to strengthen renewals, quoting, and upsell across an established customer base. This company is looking for a commercial professional to own the end-to-end renewal cycle across a live customer portfolio, with direct responsibility for identifying upsell opportunities and driving revenue growth. The role offers the chance to build broad commercial knowledge across connectivity, Microsoft licensing, and cyber security while working closely with an established Account Management team.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end renewal process for an allocated portfolio of accounts, ensuring contracts, licences, and services renew on time and accurately.
- Produce accurate, timely quotes for renewals, upgrades, additional licensing, and new product add-ons, working closely with vendors and internal pricing tools.
- Identify and proactively pitch upgrade and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base, from licence tier upgrades to bolt-on security products and circuit upgrades.
- Act as a regular, proactive commercial point of contact for customers, building enough trust that customers come to you rather than waiting to be chased.
- Track upcoming renewal, contract end, and licence expiry dates, flagging churn or non-renewal risk to Account Managers in good time.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date opportunity, quote, and renewal data across CRM and quoting platforms.
Skills/Must Have
- Prior experience in an inside sales, renewals, sales support, or customer success role, ideally within IT, telecoms, or an MSP environment.
- Comfortable working across a broad MSP product set, connectivity, cyber security licensing, Microsoft 365/Azure/CSP, and general managed services.
- Confident telephone-based commercial conversations, comfortable initiating rather than only responding to inbound queries, with a track record of hitting or contributing to revenue/upsell targets.
- Strong organisational discipline to manage a portfolio of renewal dates and quotes without slippage, sharp commercial instinct to spot opportunity in routine conversations, and comfortable taking direction from Account Managers as part of a wider team.
Desirable Skills
- Existing knowledge of Microsoft licensing (365/Azure/CSP), cyber security products, or telecoms/circuits.
- Experience using a CRM (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and a quoting/CPQ tool.
- Background in an MSP, telecoms provider, or IT reseller.
Benefits
- Pension, holiday allowance, and healthcare.
- Hybrid 3x days a week in a New London office.
