Responsibilities
- Supporting the operational management of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments to ensure service availability and reliability.
- Monitoring systems and services using internal monitoring tools, reviewing events, logs, and alerts while performing initial analysis of issues and escalating where necessary.
- Participating in ticket management activities including incident handling and service requests, assisting with the resolution of Level 2 infrastructure and application issues.
- Executing standard operational procedures such as backup, restore, updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation and operational procedures to support standardisation across IT Operations processes.
Skills/Must have
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT operations (including internships or apprenticeships).
- Basic knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals such as LAN, VPN, and firewall concepts.
- Experience with ticketing or monitoring tools and an interest in technical troubleshooting.
- Strong teamwork skills, a customer-focused approach, and a strong willingness to learn and grow within IT infrastructure and cloud technologies.
