This opportunity is suited to an IAM Engineer on a 6-month hybrid contract based in Sheffield, UK (2 days on-site). The role focuses on managing identity and access controls for AI tooling, ensuring proper provisioning and de-provisioning, and maintaining access governance in line with least-privilege principles.

Responsibilities
  • Design and operate IAM controls for AI tooling, covering joiner/mover/leaver processes, role-based access, and least-privilege enforcement
  • Implement SSO, provisioning, and access governance including periodic access reviews and attestations
  • Enforce privileged access controls and break-glass procedures for AI admin functions
  • Maintain audit-ready evidence and remediate access control gaps
Skills/Must Have
  • IAM engineering expertise including SSO protocols – SAML, OIDC, and OAuth2 – and provisioning via SCIM
  • Strong experience in RBAC/ABAC design, identity governance, and access reviews
  • Privileged Access Management (PAM) concepts and break-glass procedure implementation
  • Automation and scripting skills for IAM operations and access control workflows
  • Audit and compliance experience, with the ability to maintain and present audit-ready evidence – desirable: familiarity with Claude AI or agentic AI in SDLC environments
