Responsibilities
- Build and nurture excellent relationships with new logo customers aligned to strategic industry verticals by understanding their needs, ensuring exceptional service and seamless customer journeys.
- Identify new business opportunities across the UK’s full portfolio of products and services leveraging support from relevant Sales Specialists on qualified opportunities where necessary.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant industry verticals and market trends and use that to form a Go to Market plan, demonstrating path to achieve quota.
- Utilize market trends and customer needs analysis to identify new business opportunities across a range of channels such as direct relationships, internal referrals, Alliances and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on go to market plans and activities.
- Partner with the Bid Management team to progress bid activity for growth opportunities identified.
- Provide regular updates to the Director of Business Development on financial forecast, performance, customer satisfaction and other KPIs.
Skills / Must have
- Proven new business hunter with a strong track record.
- Background selling for an MSP / managed services provider (or direct competitor).
- Experience selling Cloud, Data, and Network services.
- Strong enterprise / reseller sales experience.
- Must be able to create and build pipeline, unlock new doors, and drive complex deals.
- Brings an established network and relationships.
- Highly driven, hungry, and commercially sharp.
